Right in the middle! Our hotel is centrally located in a small park in the city center of Giessen, just a five-minute walk from the shopping mile and a five-minute drive from the A485 freeway junction.



From the A45 motorway, take the A485 motorway (Gießener Ring) at the Gießener Nord- or Süd-Kreuz. From there, take the Schiffenberger Tal exit. Turn off at the traffic lights towards Gießen. After approx. 2 km straight ahead through Schiffenberger Weg, turn right after a small railroad crossing. Approx. 300 m further on you will find us on the left-hand side.

You will find our parking spaces directly at the hotel.

Reservation in advance is not possible. There is also free parking in the residential area around the hotel, subject to availability.

You will find an e-charging station with four charging stations directly at the hotel. With this offer, we want to increase the satisfaction of our guests and, above all, take responsibility for the environment. The electricity is produced by our in-house combined heat and power plant.

All electric car drivers are very welcome. While you recharge the batteries of your electric car, we will spoil you with gourmet specialties from our kitchen, warm hospitality and comfortable feel-good rooms. The hotel's normal parking fees apply regardless of whether you charge your electric car.

The best way to reach us from Giessen station is by cab. Bus line 2 will also take you to us. Please get off at Berliner Platz and you will be there after a 5-minute walk.

Beauty at second glance – the university town of Gießen has a lot to offer despite the old town unfortunately no longer being there: For example the botanical garden of the Justus Liebig University Gießen (the oldest botanical university garden in the Federal Republic), the museums about Justus von Liebig and that worldwide first mathematics museum, the new and old castle, the old cemetery with the tombs of WC Roentgen and Hugo von Ritgen as well as the historic chapel and in the near vicinity Weilburg Castle, Arnsburg Monastery, Schiffenberg Monastery and the historic old towns of Wetzlar and Marburg.

Gießen is located in the middle of Hesse between the foothills of the Vogelsberg, the Taunus and the Westerwald. Embedded in the picturesque Lahn river valley and due to its central location, it is the perfect starting point for numerous leisure activities.

Even Goethe knew about the charms of the city of Gießen. In 1772 he wrote about his journey from Wetzlar to Gießen about the “lovely valley” whose hike brought him “great happiness”.
